We're back! If getting (or staying) in shape is one of your New Year's resolutions, don't miss the 37th annual Frosty 5K New Year's Day race hosted by the Guilford Rotary Club. The event includes a certified 5K run, 2-mile health walk, and a Kids Fun Run, which all begin on the historic Guilford Green. The course will take you past many iconic sights in this celebrated coastal New England town – the green, marina, and fairgrounds.

Proceedings on race day will be slightly different than previous years with the intention of ensuring everyone's safety yet still offer the opportunity for participants to enjoy a live social event.

Registration will only be possible via this online platform but you will be able to register until 10:30 am on January 1, 2022. All registered participants will be able to collect their bib / race packet from soundRUNNER ahead of race day or at the Community Center on race morning. Post race refreshments and award presentations will take place on the green, subject to the prevailing weather conditions.

  • Friday Dec 31, 2021  at  soundRUNNER, Branford 11am-4pm

• Race check-in and bib collection Saturday, Jan 1, 2022 at Nathanael B. Greene Community Center 09:30am – 10:45am
• 10:30am Kids Fun Run Start
• 11:00am 5K Run & 2M Walk Start
• 11:45am Post-race celebration and awards presentations, Guilford Green

Entry Fees:

• 5K & 2M Walk – $30 online (until Dec 28, 2021), thereafter $35 from Dec 29, 2021 through to Jan 1, 2022
• Family Group Registration – 5K or Fitness Walk (Up to 4 people) – $75 online (until Dec 28, 2021) thereafter $90 from Dec 29, 2021 through to Jan, 1 2022.
• Kids Fun Run – $10 online until Jan 1, 2022.

Tech Shirts:

• Entrants for the 5K and 2M Fitness Walk shall be eligible to receive a long-sleeved tech shirt.
• Please note that preferred sizes cannot not be guaranteed for registrations made after December 12, 2021.  

Awards:

• 1st male & female winners receive soundRunner gift cards; 1st male & female winners from Guilford receive Planet Fitness gift cards.
• Top 3 male & female finishers in each age group receive medals:

Post-Race Party:

• Limited refreshments shall be available after the race on Guilford Green, subject to prevailing weather conditions.
