Bryn Mawr Running Company is proud to invite you to the 15th Annual Feel the Love 5K on February 13th, 2022. There is no other race like this! Scoring for the race will consist of a couple’s COMBINED final times. This is a unique and motivational race where it takes 2 to do well! With four couple categories to choose from, there is something for everyone!
This year's race will again be a LIVE race event! We will be keeping all registrants and race staff safe by following local, state and federal guidelines. If you are not ready to run a live event, that's okay. We will also have a separate virtual event again this year with Racejoy App.
The 5K will be restricted to 350 participants in the LIVE event.
INDIVIDUALS ARE WELCOME TO RACE! We’ll pair you up with another solo runner if you want!
T-shirts, Custom Bibs will be available with a special prize for all finishers, a 5K Finisher Medal! The Kids Fun Run is back on for 2022!
Proceeds will benefit the Parkinson’s disease Foundation at Jefferson Hospital, and the Bryn Mawr Running Club.
Location: Wilson Farm Park
The Park has a scenic loop section and an out and back course on paved trails. Your combined timed with your partner will make you eligible for great prizes. Course Maps are below.
The Division Rules (AWARDS WINNERS MUST RUN LIVE EVENT)
· Lovers Couple – ANY married couple (3 deep)
· Family Couple- 2 divisions- parent/child, siblings
· Friends- 2 divisions- same sex male and same sex female
· Mixed- all others
· INDIVIDUALS ARE WELCOME TO RACE! We’ll pair you up with another solo runner if you want!
(Awards will go 1 deep in each division)
Race is limited to the first 220 registrants.
Timeline
9:30-11:00 AM Registration
10:50 AM- Kids Race (cancelled for 2021)
11:00 AM Race Start (Runner Pairs will start every 10 seconds)
Awards- Will be available for pickup at the Bryn Mawr Running Co.
Virtual 5K:
If you don't feel safe to run the LIVE 5K, we are now offering a Virtual 5K. Sign up for a division and run with or without your partner and submit your overall results either using the Racejoy app or through runsignup.com.
All virtual runners will be shipped their custom bib number, t-shirt and finisher medal.
Virtual runners will not be eligible for awards.
Weather and Covid Situation
The LIVE event will be run rain or shine. If the course is covered in snow, we'll postpone the race to the following Sunday. If the pandemic restrictions won't allow for a live race, all participants will be moved to the virtual event.
