Join us at Lewis & Clark Caverns State Park. With 1,200 feet of vertical gain and beautiful views, this trail race is bound to get your trail running season off to a great start! Don't wait to register, this race is capped and is expected to sell out before the race date.

Course: Primarily single track trail with a few asphalt road crossings

Wave Starts: This race will have wave starts and you will be placed in a designated wave depending on your estimated finish time. The first wave will begin at 9 AM with remaining waves following every 15 minutes.

Aid Stations: At this time, the race will not have aid stations due to COVID-19 restrictions. Prepare to supply your own fuel needs. We reserve the right to make changes to aid stations prior to the event in order to follow COVID-19 guidelines by our local health department. If the event is able to have aid stations, please know these stations will be cupless.

Carpooling: We highly encourage all runners to carpool to the event where possible. This will help us with the management of this event as parking is limited.

Refund Policy: This race does not qualify for refunds.

These operations will be in compliance with the Gallatin Valley Health Department, Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC), and any statewide mandates or restrictions. By registering for the Expedition 12K, you accept that such adjustments may include but are not limited to waved starts, mask policies, changes to aid station operations, and adjustments to packet pickup.
