The Davie PAL Super Sprint & Kids Triathlon Series offers a fun and family friendly race. The swimming portion is held at the Davie Pine Island Park Pool located at 3800 SW 92nd Ave, Davie, FL 33328. The proceeds from these events support the Davie Police Athletic League, a youth crime prevention program that utilizes educational, athletic and recreational activities to create trust and understanding between police officers and youth in our community. FAQ
We “Age Up” (per triathlon sporting standards) so the athlete will race according the the age they are as of Dec 31, 2021. For example, if your child is now seven and turning eight in November they will be racing as “Age 8” rather than “Age 7”
Parents are not allowed in transition once transition closes before the race, once the last child crosses the finish line we will re-open transition for bike removal.
Athletes MUST run from Swim Exit to Transition without shoes, no one will be allowed to put on their shoes on the pool deck. All items should be neatly placed on your towel next to your bike in transition.
Swim caps and googles are optional but highly recommended.
Training wheels are allowed in the 5-7 year old category.
All participants who finish the course will receive a finishers medal.
