Welcome to the Cook-Wiss Strong 5k. This is Cook-Wissahickon’s 9th annual 5k. This year's race will be a VIRTUAL EVENT. Cook-Wissahickon is a public K-8 elementary school in the Roxborough/Manayunk neighborhood of Philadelphia that provides academic excellence in a diverse and welcoming school community. This event is organized by dedicated parents and staff members to help raise funds for the Home and School Association (HSA). The HSA provides such funds to the school for things such as training programs for teachers, sporting equipment, library books, technology, classroom supplies, etc.

This year, the event will look a little different. All events are virtual events. We have enabled the Racejoy app so that your results will immediately upload to our results page, get notifications of what mile you are at and your pace along with cheers. For more details click on the Racejoy option on the race menu. You have the option to run the race anywhere or on the actual Kinney Course on campus. We'll send you directions once the race date approaches. There is also a preference to run your 5K without your phone and you can submit your times through runsignup.com. We'll send you directions.
