Christmas Parade 5K

Saturday- December 5th – event starts at 4:45 PM

To benefit the VSU Cross Country

Festival apparel is not required; however, it is certainly encouraged.

In following with the City of Valdosta ordinance – we request that all participants wear a face mask covering their nose and mouth prior to and immediately after the 5K event. All spectators are always requested to wear a face mask covering their nose and mouth. Please distance yourselves from others. Please treat others as you would like to be treated – with kindness, awareness, and a generous heart. Please supply your own pre-race and post-race refreshments, and hand wipes.

Course: Starts and finishes in Downtown Valdosta – an out and back course. Starts on North Patterson Street at Bennie’s Alley – heads north on N. Patterson Street to the turnaround point past the Valdosta State University's front gate, returns south on N. Patterson Street to the finish line at Bennie’s Alley.

Awards: The first 25 Male and 25 Female finisher’s will receive their award in the finish chute. Additional give-aways offered periodically after the top 25 of each has been awarded. No post event awards ceremony.

Give-a-way: All participants who register will receive a Drawstring Shoe Bag.

Entry Fee: Please register online by 11:59 AM, 12/04/2021. Early registration fee of $20 thru November 27th – $25.00 November 28th through December 3rd – $30 on 12/04/2020 through 11:59AM. There is a Family Discount through December 3rd – [Parent(s)/Children under the age of 18] $60 if received by 11/27, $75 thru 12/03. No Family Discount offered on 12/04 – all race day $30 fee if by 11:59AM. For those who choose to enter using paper applications between 3:30pm and 4:30pm – $40 per person.
