Join us on Saturday, July 31st in Kirby Park for the Christmas in July 5K & Reindeer Relay. Proceeds from this race will benefit the Northwest Area Cross Country Team. Event will be professionally chip timed with splits provided for the 4 loop relay.

The Northwest Area Cross Country program has been dedicated to promoting health, wellness, and a love of running for the students of Northwest Area School District for decades, producing many state-qualifying athletes but more importantly inspiring countless life long runners.

Race Format: To comply with CDC guidelines and an anticipated restriction on group size, the race will be moving to an 8a.m. – 8:30 am Time Trail start format. The Start/Finish line will remain open from 8a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Runners are encouraged to start anytime between 8a.m. and 8:30 a.m., and must finish by 10:00 a.m. The race will be scored off of chip time measured from your individual start time to your finish time.

Packet Pickup: Will be available FRIDAY prior to the event, and throughout the day of race, to avoid any crowd size. Friday pick up will be held at Abide Coffee House (23 W Market St, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18701) from 8:00-12:00 with a complimentary coffee for all participants.
