Portion of the proceeds benefits The Beaufort-Jasper YMCA of the Lowcountry to provide much needed scholarship funds for their learn to swim, pre-school, after-school, free healthy meals, and family assistance. In 2019 The Beaufort-Jasper YMCA of the Lowcountry dispersed $350,000 worth of financial assistance to 900 families. Due to Covid-19 the Y's ability to serve the community as in years past has been dramatically impacted. The Y continues to offer all of the programs listed above, however their service to families in need have become limited. The Beaufort-Jasper YMCA of the Lowcountry considers Beaufort Academy amongst their "Hero Partners". Your registration and participation makes you a "Hero Partner" too!

Certified 5k and 10k, flat fast course

Free with runner registration: Awesome after party at the Coosaw Point Clubhouse on the water with live band, chili and fixins, adult beverages, kids plates (hot dogs, etc.), and each runner over 21 receives a free celebratory beer at the finish line. (Spectators and non running family members can enter party for $10 each; kids 12 and under free). Craft beer, hot dogs and concessions (other than chili) for sale, as well as bottomless beer cups.

Preregistration:
5k is $35 for general registration, $25 for ages 18 and under; runners and walkers present bib for entry into after party

10k is $40 for general registration, $30 for ages 18 and under; runners and walkers present bib for entry into after party

Race Day Registration:

5k is $35 for general registration, $25 for ages 18 and under
10k is $40 for general registration, $30 for ages 18 and under
