Do you like running? How about frosty cold craft beer? Have you always wondered what it would feel like to dunk prominent members of the Bow community into a tank of freezing cold water? Well today is your lucky day!! The Bow Athletic Club is proud to announce that we’re putting the FUN back in FUNdraising. That’s right friends, the first annual BACToberfest is set to commence.

Join us for a 5k road race which is sure to scratch your competitive itch… and then meet us afterwards for the block party this town has been waiting for at Gergler Field, following this meltdown of a year.

5K:

September 25, 2021 at 4:00 PM,

35 Albin Road (Hansen Park)

REGISTRATION COST:

• Adults $35.00 includes access to the post race activities and BACtoberfest commemorative sweatshirt for those registered by 9/5. $40.00 on event day

• Youth (12 and under) $25 includes access to the post race activities and BACtoberfest commemorative sweatshirt for those registered by 9/5. $35.00 on event day

KIDS GOSLING GALLOP:

• Kids Gosling Gallop will take place at Gosling Field at 3:30 p.m.

• $10 for children 8 and under.

• Includes a youth size cotton t-shirt and access to the post race celebration.

POST RACE CELEBRATION:

Post race celebration will be held at Gergler Field. Access to the beer/food tents can also be purchased at an early registration price of $7.00, they will be $10.00 the day of the event. Free to children 3 and under.

The fun is set to go all night long (well, at least until 10 pm), so whether you’re a runner or you just want to come down for some laughs, good food, and some great beer (non alcoholic beverages will also be available as well as food) we can guarantee that you will not want to miss this event.

And if you’re wondering about what to do with your kids, don’t worry we’ve got that covered too. For that same $7.00 preregistration price and $10.00 day of price (Per child. Children 3 and under are free), we’ve got bouncy houses and entertainment for the smaller kids at the Goodwin fields. We will have a secured and enclosed area managed by responsible high schoolers (i.e. babysitting). So don’t delay, sign up today, and let’s get this party train out of the station.
