AdventHealth Wauchula Foundation Wildcat Wellness Virtual 5K

AdventHealth Wauchula Foundation's Wildcat pride-inspired Virtual 5K allows the runner to complete their run where they want and when it is convenient for them. Your safety is our top priority; this event has been converted to a complete virtual experience, to ensure that our participants safety and wellness goals can be achieved in unison .We hope you’ll join us – as we embark on this inaugural virtual experience together – for virtual fellowship, fun and physical activity.
This run qualifies as 5 of 10 as part of the AdventHealth Heartland Race Series.
Race Day Schedule and Packet Information
Pre-event and drive-thru packet pick up will take place at the AdventHealth Wauchula Wellness Center (610 West Orange Street, Wauchula) on Monday, Aug. 9 and Tuesday, Aug. 10 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Participants will have between Sunday, August 8 and Sunday, August 22, 2021 to complete their 5K.
Submit run route, results and completion selfies to kirsten.scarborough@adventhealth.com by Sunday, August 22, 2021 at 9:00 p.m.
Virtual Run Registration
Virtual races allow individuals to participate and help raise dollars for an organization they support. Virtual races allow you to run anywhere, anytime and with anyone. The Wauchula 5k can be completed in your neighborhood, a park, or on a treadmill (to name a few). All you need to do is time yourself while you run or walk and upload your tracked results. Make sure to complete and email your results to kirsten.scarborough@adventhealth.com by Sunday, August 22, 2021 before 9:00 p.m. to qualify and receive your participation shirt and packet. All shirts that are not picked up pre event and medals/prizes will be mailed to participants and received within two weeks of the event's conclusion.
Prizes
There will be participation prizes offered for the following: Most Wildcat Spirited Selfie Submission, First Run Completion Submission, Top Fundraising Team and Top Overall Run Times. These prizes will be mailed out with shirts and medals, following the event conclusion.
