5K Polar Run & Dunk 2022

Start your resolution early. Join us for the 10th Annual Polar Bear Run & Dunk  Saturday, January 8th!

Run along the beautiful San Joaquin River, through natural habitat and around Bass Lake.  All participants can choose to stay dry or for the most daring, choose to take the Polar Bear dunk into the frigid waters of Eagal Lakes.  

Not a runner… that’s OK.. Walkers welcome to join the fun. For those that want to start 2022 off with a bang choose the Dunk Only. Dunkers bring your “A” game for a shot at medalsThis is a FUN RUN and will not be timed. There will be a timing clock on display for you to check your time at the finish line.

All participants will receive a race number, raffle ticket, finishers medal and a hot drink. Commemorative t-shirts may be purchased at time of registration. Only participants that pre-purchased a t-shirt will receive one at the race. 

After the run and dunk we’ll have warm changing rooms, a bonfire and your choice of coffee or hot chocolate. Grab & go snacks and handcrafted cocktails will be available for purchase in the Bar and Bistro. Post race celebration with raffle prizes.

Event happens RAIN or SHINE.  Absolutely No refunds will be given.

Directions from Stockton, Manteca & places North: I-5 South to Kasson Rd. Exit and turn left over the freeway. You will see a line of tall palm trees. This is West Lorenzen Rd. Turn left. Follow road through working ranch and over the levee. Follow entrance signs to the parking lot. [ Edit | Delete ]
Directions from Bay Area: Take the 580 East towards Tracy. Hwy 205 East. Exit McArthur Rd. Turn right. Turn left on Grant Line Rd. Enter round about and turn right on the 2nd street, Kasson Rd. Go over freeway. You will see a line of tall palm trees. This is West Lorenzen Rd. Turn left. Follow road through working ranch and over the levee. The Post-Race Celebration will be located next to the Barefoot Bar & Bistro with bonfire, hot food and beverages to warm up after the race.  FREE hot chocolate and coffee for participants.
