2FGR Presents the DSACO Run for Down Syndrome

When: May 20, 2021
Where: Dublin, OH
Race type(s): 10K, 5K, Kids Run

We are thrilled to announce that the 12th Annual 2FGR Run for Down Syndrome will be a hybrid event held on Thursday, May 20, 2021. This will include a live in-person event as well as a virtual event. With the uncertainty due to the COVID-19 pandemic, if guidance from federal, state, and local officials is such that a live in-person event cannot be safely conducted, then we will redirect our efforts towards another virtual-only race. A decision will be made on the live event no later than April 1, 2021.

The Run for Down Syndrome offers something for everyone. The run includes a very competitive 5K and 10K race for the avid athlete, a run for the casual runner or the entire family, or walked by anyone that would like to participate. The course is mostly flat and very scenic as it runs through the Indian Run Meadows Park in the heart of Dublin, Ohio. The event offers a 200-yard kids dash prior to the 5K / 10K Race for children ages 9 and under. All participants will receive a quality race t-shirt, swag items in their race packet, and a custom finisher’s medal commemorating the 12th Anniversary of the event. *Please note: hat and water bottle are limited to the first 500 registrations in the 5K/10K combined. The kids race is excluded from the hat and water bottle but will receive a t-shirt and medal.

The event benefits the Down Syndrome Association of Central Ohio (DSACO). DSACO’s mission is to support families, promote community, and encourage a lifetime of opportunities for people with Down syndrome. Monies raised from this event go to support DSACO and their programs, including recreational scholarships for children and adults with Down syndrome and other DSACO initiatives such as iCan Bike Camp and Golf Academy.
